Color Consultation: Benjamin Moore Sweet Basil
Benjamin Moore Sweet Basil, is definitely a versatile tone that allows you to be creative and tap into your personality a bit. It works very well with browns, whites, beige, tan, blues, pops of gold or yellow. Or even black. The client had a hue of green that didn’t match what she thought it would be in within her space. She struggled with decor/furniture pieces to tie into the color.
Although the blues would have worked, she eventually concurred that green, browns and whites were beneficial and it is my suggestion to go with a darker green than the one previously selected.
This hue was specifically chosen to allow for a relaxing space that the client could unwind and recluse towards. I’ve added a snake plant to allow for oxygenation and utilized the space above the bed for creative African Styled art. I’ve added in browns, whites, borders at the top of the wall, and at the bottom. Medium Brown wood flooring, and a beige area rug beneath the bed.
Snake plant was used in a white vase with gold and brown marble to tie into the brown and white theme as well as the green. This hue will do well in bedrooms, as an exterior tone, or as an accent wall. Do you need color help?
