Feng Shui: Debunking Myths on The Usage of Sage in Your Home

Let’s debunk a few myths about sage…One you do not have to have it given to you by an indigenous Shaman. 2. Demons or evil spirits are not unafraid of Sage. They are not moved because the person cleansing has demons within them already. You cannot cleanse anything if you are unclean within.

What is an unclean person to be exact?

A person who is sinful, who refuses to change, all because Christianity teaches that it is ok to sin or perform abominable acts. Abominable acts could be porn, child molestation, rape, incest, excessive alcoholic drinking. Obsessive drug use. Or just simply being a horrible human being.

In the same token, you cannot call upon the name of Jesus/Christ without being cleaned within and choosing to remain clean. You cannot call upon ANY higher deity without working on the inside first. What happens when you are trying to cleanse your home and you still have demons within? It is going to attract even more or worser curses to you.

This is why it is pertinent to hire a professional to assist you. How does sage work and why? Sage has to be blessed, Yes! NO, you do not have to have it given to you for free. Nothing is free in this world. Someone has to put in the work, time, and energy to grow something for you. So, do not go around expecting people to give you bundles of sage. Another thing is, YOU ARE BURNING IT WRONG! You will need to do one or all of 3 things, Buy a bundle of sage, unravel the string around it, and burn the entire contents. Or, Buy loose sage and burn it in a metal pot or paper bag. There needs to be smoke so visible it is almost like you are choking. Of course, you do not do this with children or the elderly in the home.

Burning only the edge of a sage bundle isn’t the way. Additionally, You will need to add herbs that suit the purpose. Let me ask you…So, you pay $15 for a bundle of sage and are only using the edge? It’s a waste of energy and money, to be honest. First and foremost, seek inner healing, second, cleanse around you. All healing begins on the inside first. In feng-shui, it is hard to decorate anything with clutter everywhere. It is the same with yourself. If your home is being possessed with evil spirits. Then you will need to cleanse the inner evil thoughts, demonic attachments, and so forth first. Know this, you are able to use anything necessary to cleanse your home. It is all about intention. You can use Chinese Floor Wash or even salt as an alternative to cleansing your space and home. Sage itself, is potent and still a powerful tool to use.
